Holy Grail fishing flies are designed to represent Sedge Pupa ascending from the bottom to hatch. The goldbead at the head ensures the fly sinks quickly, an important consideration when fishing rivers. Fish these on a floating line and long leader on stillwaters or on a short leader as a pair of nymphs on the river. Choose the colour of the imitation to those of any naturals seen hatching.
